Overview
From 7 to 9 May 2026, an extraordinary event will come to life in Calabria: the legendary Notre Dame de Paris will return to Italian stages with an unmissable stop at the Palacalafiore in Reggio Calabria, the only venue in the region capable of hosting a production of this scale.
Four years after the major show celebrating the twentieth anniversary of its debut, Riccardo Cocciante's musical blockbuster is renewed with spectacular staging, dominated by a gigantic wall that transforms into anything and everything, while shades of grey create a metropolitan atmosphere, making the show even more contemporary and closely aligned with today's urban reality.
After 23 years of performances, Notre Dame De Paris continues to conquer the hearts of audiences with its incredible fusion of music, poetry and emotions. Cocciante's unforgettable melodies, including "Bella" ("Beautiful"), "Il tempo delle cattedrali" ("The Age of the Cathedrals") and "Vivere per amare" ("To Live for Love"), accompany the dramatic love story between Esmeralda and Quasimodo, set against the backdrop of the magnificent Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris.
With the Italian adaptation by Pasquale Panella of the original lyrics by Luc Plamondon, this timeless masterpiece addresses universal and deeply relevant themes, exposing the unjust barriers imposed by society and speaking to every generation with the same enduring intensity. A work that continues to grow without ever ageing, carrying with it a powerful and universal message.
