Overview
A small municipality in the province of Reggio Calabria, Serrata is home to an important aristocratic palace, listed among the Historical Residences of Calabria.
It is the 18th-century Palazzo D'Agostino, which belonged to the family of the same name that had it built in Liberty style. Visitable by appointment, the palace represents one of the most prestigious architectural assets in the area.
Not to be missed is an excursion to the surrounding area, to the slopes of the Aspromonte National Park, and to the nearby Galatro Thermal Baths (in the municipality of the same name).
