From 3 to 7 November 2025, the Stanislao Giacomantonio Conservatory in Cosenza will host the Cosenza Saxophone Meeting, an international event that brings together students and teachers from Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy as part of the Erasmus programme. The event promotes music as a universal language of dialogue and collaboration, offering masterclasses, workshops and concerts open to the public.
The concert programme:
3 November 2025 | Plesso delle Canossiane, Cosenza – Opening concert with the Cosenza Saxophone Ensemble and world premiere by Ludovico Buonamano.
4 November 2025 | Church of San Domenico, Cosenza – 'Shaping the Future: Guest Students on Stage!', performance by guest students from the Conservatories of Maastricht and Liège.
5 November 2025 | Conservatory of Cosenza – Recital by Maestro Mariano García accompanied by Giancarlo Grande.
6 November 2025 | Church of San Domenico, Cosenza – 'Beyond Time and Space', concert by teachers with ensembles ranging from duos to quintets.
7 November 2025 | Plesso delle Canossiane, Cosenza – Final concert with all participating students, conducted by Maestro Bart Van Beneden, and presentation of certificates.
