Overview
A forest planted in the 17th century by the Mollo barons, owners of the nearby Casino, donated in 2016 to the FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano). Majestic 350-year-old larch pines rise up to a height of 45 metres and have a diameter at the base of about two metres. Together, they form a perfect and scenic natural colonnade. All the trees were planted by the Forestry Corps and there is a sign in the vicinity of each specimen highlighting its characteristics. Today, this wonder is a Biogenetic Guided Nature Reserve, where human intervention has the sole purpose of letting nature take its course.
