Overview

Ubicato nella città storica, all’interno del Castello Ursino, il Museo Civico è un luogo di studio apprezzato da archeologi, storici e restauratori. Vanta una ricca collezione ricca di tavolette bizantineggianti del XV secolo, oli su tela del XIX secolo, reperti archeologici di epoca ellenistica e romana, vasi greci, monete greche e romane, portali del XIII e XV secolo, incisioni, stampe, paramenti sacri e oggetti artistici ornamentali di diverse epoche. Attualmente, solo una parte della collezione può essere visitata, inclusi alcuni reperti di alto valore storico.
