Circular itinerary along the southern coast of Sardinia

It starts from the village of Chia, located in a small cove, dominated by a coastal tower. The route runs along the coastal road with its constant ups and downs for a brisk ride, but some spectacular scenery.
You will pass by Sardinia’s most beautiful beaches: Su Giudeu, so enchanting that it is often the set for films and commercials; Tuerredda, an earthly paradise within an inlet between Capo Malfatano and Capo Spartivento. You will arrive at Piscinnì, named for the Piscinni tower, built by the Spaniards and standing on the promontory.
During the journey, you can admire the small port of Porto Budello and catch a glimpse of Isola Rossa and Capo Teulada.
Towards Teulada and then back to Chia

The road then leaves the beaches and heads inland, with a beautiful cycle path for safe cycling towards Teulada. Here, the streets ascend to squares decorated with sculptures.
Climbing the Nuraxi de Mesu pass, you can enjoy magnificent views of the mountains and down to the sea.
Prepare for the descent: smooth rocks, eucalyptus forests, flowers and pines forests take you to Domus de Maria. Our cycling route now leads us towards the sea, following the rocky gorge back to the road that returns to Chia, a corner of paradise.
