Following the success of previous editions, MARE NORDEST returns in 2026, confirming its status as a key event for the maritime world. For the first time, the event will run for four days, offering a rich programme of events, talks and experiences.
Against the evocative backdrop of Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia in Trieste, the public will be able to enjoy a journey through the environment, culture, science, sport, art, and food and wine. Amidst stands, pop-up stores and spaces dedicated to local specialities, the Scala Reale area will also come alive with activities for all tastes.
The evenings will be dedicated to music and entertainment, transforming the Mare Nordest Village into a lively hub for socialising and good company.
The star of the show is Trieste, a city with Central European charm and a crossroads of cultures, which, with its port and its history, serves as a natural bridge between the West and the East.
The 2026 edition will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Italian commercial aviation, with events and exhibitions dedicated to seaplanes, a symbol of innovation in the early 20th century, along with photo exhibitions, talks and activities for all ages.
