The Parks Cycle path is a cycle tourism route of over 500 kilometres, divided into 12 stages crossing Calabria from north to south. The itinerary connects the main regional parks-Pollino, Sila, Aspromonte and Serre Calabresi-offering the opportunity to explore villages and wild landscapes along roads with little traffic, through places where time seems to stand still.

The Cycle path received the Italian Cycling Oscar in 2021 and has been part of the EuroVelo7 network since June 2024.

Start from the Lombard centre of Laino Borgo, and head towards Mormanno, known for its sweet 'bocconotti'. Continue towards the Piana di Campotenese, where you will encounter a pleasant cycle path that reaches an altitude of 1050 metres, and then descend towards Morano Calabro, the 'crib village of the Pollino'.

Passing through Castrovillari and the Arbëreshë villages, you come to the fortified village of San Donato di Ninea.

Continue towards Rovale and Lake Arvo, passing through Racise and Mancuso, and descend towards Albi, Taverna and Tiriolo, closing the route with a view of the two seas and, if the sky is clear, the Aeolian Islands.
