Overview
Jazz music is back in the spotlight in Palermo, from June 22 to July 6 2025 with the fifth edition of the Sicilia Jazz Festival, a unique event on the Italian and international scene that transforms the city into a great sound stage.
The beating heart of the festival is the Orchestra Jazz Siciliana - The Brass Group, which will lead original orchestral productions and world premieres, alongside big names on the world stage such as Victor Wooten, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Piero Pelù and Eliane Elias.
The programming unfolds among historic spaces and iconic venues in the city: from the Teatro di Verdura, home of the main concerts, to the Complesso Monumentale di Santa Maria dello Spasimo, from the Real Teatro Santa Cecilia to the Palazzo Steri. Each location contributes to an immersive musical experience, where art, architecture and sound come together.
The festival also welcomes young talents from Sicilian conservatories, offering them the chance to perform on the same stage as the great protagonists of jazz.
An unmissable opportunity to discover Palermo in a new light, among notes that cross ancient alleys, historic squares and Mediterranean atmospheres, telling a creative, welcoming and deeply musical Sicily.
