From Aug. 1 to 3, 2025, the Archaeological Area of Morgantina in Aidone (EN) will once again be transformed into an extraordinary open-air stage for the fifth edition of Barbablù Fest, a festival that weaves contemporary art, art music and classical theater into a profound dialogue with landscape and history. Three unmissable evenings will enliven the heart of Sicily, offering the public an evocative and immersive cultural experience amid archaeological remains and timeless horizons. August 1 - Max Gazzè in “Musicae Loci” Opening the festival will be Max Gazzè with the special project Musicae Loci, accompanied by the Calabria Orchestra. A concert that mixes pop and tradition, in which the Roman artist's best-loved melodies blend with the ethnic sounds of southern Italy, in an exciting encounter between past and present. August 2 - Fabio Concato in concert The second event will see Fabio Concato, a refined singer-songwriter, take the stage, capable of transforming each song into an intimate tale. His concert will be a journey between great classics and new songs, under the banner of poetry and simplicity that have distinguished him for more than 40 years. Aug. 3 - “Clytemnestra” with Viola Graziosi Closing the festival is speech theater with “Clitemnestra”, a drama written by Luciano Violante, performed by Viola Graziosi and directed by Giuseppe Dipasquale. An intense reinterpretation of Greek tragedy that addresses the universal themes of power, revenge and the role of women in history. A festival that celebrates the Mediterranean as a crossroads of cultures, enhancing Sicilian heritage through the power of the arts. |
