Dozza

Overview

One of the most characteristic medieval villages of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines

Dozza rises amidst vineyards and soft hills and towers over the surrounding landscape with its majestic Sforza fortress, where the Emilia-Romagna Regional Wine Store is located. But the eyes of those who arrive are immediately enraptured by the numerous and beautiful murals that adorn the walls of the village: colours, lines, suggestions that make Dozza a unique place, where the modernity of street art and the historicity of medieval roots come together. In addition, in odd-numbered years, the village of Dozza becomes a magnificent open-air painting studio hosting the Biennale del Muro Dipinto.
