Far from the most popular tourist destinations, the inland areas of Sicily preserve unspoiled landscapes, medieval villages, archaeological treasures, and historic communities that reveal a lesser-known, authentic identity.
This 5-day itinerary winds through mountain lakes, nature reserves, hilltop castles, Arab quarters, and major archaeological areas such as Morgantina and the Villa Romana del Casale.
A slow-paced journey into the island’s soul — a Sicily that welcomes, tells its story, and never fails to surprise.
