A ride from Airasca among fragrances and traditions

From the start in Airasca, the fusion with the landscape is total on this route, thanks to the silence offered by the old railway and on a clear day, views of Monviso, whose majestic profile dominates most of the route.

You pass the municipalities of Scalenghe, Cercenasco, Vigone and then Villafranca, bathed by the river Po, the scene of conquests and battles that have left artistic and architectural works of rare beauty in the village.

Arrival in Moretta: the end of the cycle path

The cycle path ends in Moretta, where you can admire the castle of medieval origin but rebuilt in the 1700s, which stands majestically in the town's central square.

Those who want to discover more of the area can come to Cumiana and Italy's first immersive biopark, ZOOM. This zoo is built without cages or fences. Or you can go to Nichelino and admire the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, a hunting residence of the Savoy family. The site, part of the Savoy residences circuit in Piedmont, is now a UNESCO world heritage site.
