IT is 1953 when Oriana and Enrico Panattoni, already owners of an ice cream shop in Via Colleoni, buy the dairy in Colle Aperto next to Porta Sant'Alessandro. Thus was born the bar, ice cream shop and since 1961 restaurant La Marianna.
UNIQUE PLACE - Its position, just inside the Venetian Walls that surround the hills of Bergamo Alta, overlooking the "Colle Aperto", the characteristic panoramic basin, center of life of the ancient city, makes this place simply unique.
UNMISTAKABLE FLAVOURS - In well-kept and refined rooms, the restaurant offers refined dishes, studied in detail to enhance flavours and presentation. Not to mention the delicious proposals of the bar and ice cream parlour, including the mythical stracciatella invented here in 1961.
