The trip starts in Trapani and heads to San Vito Lo Capo, then Levanzo, Marettimo and Favignana, sailing among dreamy coves, sea caves and seabeds perfect for snorkelling.
Each stop reveals a different side of Sicily: the Arabic couscous of San Vito, the Neolithic paintings of Levanzo, the silence of Marettimo and the ritual of the Tonnara in Favignana. The trip ends with a visit to Marsala, Erice and the Stagnone salt pans. A slow and fascinating cruise through sea, myth and flavour.

From Trapani to San Vito Lo Capo: the pearl of Costa Gaia

- The cruise departs from Trapani and heads towards San Vito Lo Capo. After sailing for approximately 38 miles, you will arrive at one of Sicily's most picturesque seaside villages.

- Here you will find Caribbean-like beaches, calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling, and North African flavours such as fish couscous. Don't miss the Sanctuary, the Tonnara del Secco and the Zingaro Nature Reserve.

Levanzo: caves, coves and cabbuci at sunset

- We reach Levanzo after sailing 25 miles. We stop at Cala Dogana, a small village on the island, and at Cala Minnola for a dip in the crystal-clear waters.

- The Grotta del Genovese, with its Neolithic cave paintings, is a must-see.

- The day ends with dinner by the sea, enjoying local cabbuci.

Marettimo: diving, trekking and lobster pasta

- After 12 miles, you arrive at Marettimo, the wildest of the Egadi Islands. Its sea caves, such as the Grotta del Cammello, and its seabed rich in biodiversity are perfect for snorkelling and diving.

- The trails lead to the Roman Houses, a small Byzantine church and the Castle of Punta Troia.

- Dinner with local specialities: lobster pasta is recommended.

Favignana: tuna fisheries, tuff quarries and Cala Rossa

- After sailing 12 miles, we head toward Favignana, the largest island of the archipelago. Dominated by Mount Santa Caterina, it is famous for its tuna and culinary traditions.

- Don't miss the Florio Palace and the Tonnara Museum. Among the most beautiful coves are Cala Rossa, Cala Azzurra, and Cala del Bue Marino.

- Try the sweet and sour tuna or the fried tuna milt.

Marsala and the Salt Pans: Between Wine, Windmills, and Archaeology

. We return to Trapani after 9 miles. If time allows, a visit to Marsala with a wine tasting at a local cellar is highly recommended.

- Don't miss the excursion to the Stagnone salt pans, with their restored windmills and the island of Mozia.

- For those continuing their holiday: visits to Segesta, Selinunte, and tastings at local farms. Must-tries include olive oil gelato and genovesi pastries from Erice.
