10–11 May 2025
A leisurely stroll along the Italy you've never met before
Cammini Aperti 2025
After the great success of Cammini Aperti 2024, the most important national event dedicated to Italian walking routes, Cammini Aperti – Special Edition 2025 is born.
On May 10th and 11th, 2025, 27 free hikes will take place along three of the most important spiritual routes in our country:
● The Lauretani Ways
● The Way of St. Benedict
● The St. Francis' Way
The events are free of charge, but places are limited. In the meantime, click here to receive an email when registration opens!
The hikes will involve Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Marche, Tuscany, and Umbria. Thanks to five guided tours, it will also be possible to visit places of great religious, spiritual, and cultural value - usually closed to the public - that will be exceptionally open for this occasion.
Cammini Aperti 2025 aims to enhance the routes and the territories they cross in collaboration with managing bodies, CAI, FederTrek, FISH, and other partners, promoting:
● Accessibility
● Spirituality
● Environmental sustainability
Cammini Aperti is an initiative funded by the Fondo Sviluppo e Coesione, within the Piano Sviluppo e Coesione under the Ministry of Culture, as part of the project “The Religious Ways of St. Francis, St. Benedict, and St. Scholastica – Cross-cutting Actions”, with the Ministry of Tourism as the beneficiary.
