Overview
A charming inlet extends between the Rocca di Cefalù to the east and Capo Zafferano to the west: the Gulf of Termini Imerese. Crystal-clear sea, fine sandy beaches and sights of incredible beauty are just some of the ingredients of this corner of paradise, which peeks out on the northern coast of Sicily. An unspoilt landscape, characterised by an age-old culture and a rich artistic heritage, for a tourist route offering history, flavour and Mediterranean charm.
Along the Gulf of Termini Imerese lies a highly varied segment of land: crossing it, you will find ancient olive trees and citrus groves as well as castles, churches and monuments, often overlooking the sea.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the presence of numerous caves and shelters under the rock, the area becomes famous under Greek rule, thanks to the hot water springs , which are still in use today.
This multicultural area, where Angevin and Arab-Norman echoes still resound, is the setting for a cuisine with flavours and aromas known and appreciated all over the world.
