The restaurant was born as a "socio-cultural project" close to people with disabilities (some members of the restaurant's staff) and linked to the Arab-Norman route (Palermo-Monreale-Cefalù) from which it takes some dishes of the kitchen adapting them to the contemporary. A multimedia system allows the diner to follow the path linked to the territory, enjoying at the table the flavors of the context he is visiting. vintiReci is, of course, on the road that leads from the autostarda to the nearby Guttuso Museum and then continues towards the direction Palermo-Monreale or Cefalù. The name VintiReci goes back in the Sicilian dialect and during the Second World War, a period in which the schooling of children was very difficult. The story tells of a Grandfather who not having gone to school, knew how to count in a very personal way and after the number 29, customized in 20+10 (in Sicilian dialect VintiReci) the number 30.
