Overview
In the rooms, there is a collection of significant Islamic artistic artefacts from regions overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Particularly noteworthy among these are the musciarabia, the wooden lattice screens created by assembling hundreds of spools in a lace-like weave, decorated with light and refined motifs and ornaments; and various objects for everyday use or for furnishing, such as candlesticks, bowls, basins and mortars, made mainly of brass with engraved decorations and embellished with fine gold and silver threads and foils. In addition, you can also visit the restored spectacular Zisa garden, with its impressive water tank and its characteristic gushers.
