Leaving Ronciglione, the Via Romea Strata enters the green heart of the Cimini mountains, through the chestnut and hazel forests that characterise this part of Tuscia. The walk continues along dirt roads and shaded paths, with a gently undulating course that makes the stage varied and pleasant.
As you progress, the landscape opens up and reveals the waters of Lake Bracciano in the distance, which accompany the last part of the route. The arrival in Trevignano Romano is particularly evocative: the village lies along the shore of the lake, with its lively lakeside promenade and the historic centre rising towards the remains of the fortress, offering splendid panoramic views.
It is a stage immersed in nature, where the silence of the woods alternates with the great lake horizons, providing a relaxing walk full of scenic beauty.
