This stage descends once again to the valley floor before climbing to the opposite ridge that marks the left hydrographic bank of the Marecchia River. Beyond this ridge, in the Savio Valley, lies Sant’Agata Feltria. At the beginning of the route, the landscape is dominated by the cliffs of San Leo and Maiolo, offering a stunning panoramic path with striking passages through deep gullies. After crossing the bridge over the Marecchia, you reach the town of Novafeltria, which provides various accommodation options.
The ascent leads to the small village of Torricella, the birthplace of the Servant of God "Blessed" Father Francesco da Torricella. Once on the watershed ridge between the Marecchia and Savio Valleys, you can enjoy sweeping views of both valleys. A scenic path finally descends to Sant’Agata Feltria, where you will find the Cappuccini convent and the Clarisse's monastery at the entrance (both offering lodging services). The town is one of the main Franciscan sites in the Montefeltro region.
