Overview
Have you ever heard of UNESCO World Heritage Sites? These are places that are so important in terms of history, culture or nature that the whole world has decided to protect and preserve them. And guess what? There are lots of them in Lombardy, and each one is more fascinating than the last!
In this podcast series, curated by the editorial team of Focus Junior, we'll take you on a journey to discover them one by one, as if we were carrying a backpack and eager to explore.
We’ll walk among the rock carvings of Valcamonica, find out how Leonardo da Vinci painted the Last Supper, visit the ideal cities of the Gonzaga family – Mantua and Sabbioneta – and lose ourselves among the breathtaking architecture of the Sacro Monte. But don’t think of this as a boring history lesson: it will be an adventure packed with interesting facts, mysteries to unravel and surprising details you’ve never heard before.
