Overview
Now in its 35th edition, "La Scala infiorata" of Caltagirone provides a floral show staged in an exceptional theatre: the monumental Santa Maria del Montedella Scala.
Organised in homage to the Madonna di Conadomini, the city's patron saint celebrated at that time, the Infiorata provides an unusual image of the city's famous attraction that changes its appearance: plants and flowers of various shades of colour are juxtaposed to compose a grandiose design that is different every time.
Its long duration allows tourists and visitors to plan their visit to admire the grandeur of the Scala amidst ceramics, flowers and the colours of spring.
