Overview
At the beginning of the 13th century, St Dominic founded, according to tradition, the church of which little remains today of the original 13th-century structure, as it has undergone several modifications and adaptations over the centuries. In particular, in the 1500s, many interventions modified it according to the new architectural taste of the time. Outside, a new bell tower was erected, while inside, the extension of the altars and chapels, carried out by the wealthiest families of Cingoli, gave a new look to the religious complex.
