Overview
From 5 to 7 September 2024, the city of Catania becomes the cultural centre of the country, discussing poetry, sport, art, cinema, science, innovation and much more during the International Book and Culture Fair. The city of Etna will welcome authors, editors, artists and great performers in a three-day festival full of events, workshops and in-depth discussions.
The aim of making culture available to all is the central theme of the event, which will permeate the city's beautiful historic centre allowing anyone to approach and be fascinated by it.
To quote the Italian writer Italo Calvino, on the 100th anniversary of his birth, we like to remember that “A classic is a book that has never finished saying what it has to say”.
