The Passo del Maniva mountain pass is easily accessible from Brescia and is located in the Pre-Alps, where, despite the nearby lowland cities, the silence of the mountains reigns. Whether you prefer an active day on the slopes or total relaxation with views of the mountains, this is the perfect destination.
Don’t miss the Maniva waterfall, the Marzoli and Sant’Alosio mines, the Trail of Resistance around Collio and the fascinating Trekking dei Bivacchi route in Val Grigna. The five-stage route totals 64 kilometres.
If you love via ferratas, we recommend visiting the Parco delle Fucine e Ferrate di Casto, where you can explore canyons carved into the rock along via ferratas and Tibetan bridges. If you are looking for a hike with stunning views, you can climb Monte Dasdana. Along the way, you can admire the small blue Ravenola Lakes.
