Discovering the Lake Garda area and its traditional products
Bardolino is preparing to showcase another product of excellence from its extraordinary region: Garda PDO extra-virgin olive oil. And it is doing so with the second edition of 'Olivum Bardolino', scheduled to take place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April 2026, in collaboration with AIPO and the Consorzio Olio Garda PDO.
During the Oil Festival, two days will be dedicated to outings in the local area to discover unique views and the Bardolino hinterland. This year’s edition of the renowned festival, which brings the centre of Bardolino to life at the very start of the season, features a wide range of events and performances.
On Saturday, 25 April, there will be a guided walk of approximately 6 km to explore the hinterland, including a tasting of Olio Garda PDO olive oil. Meeting point: 3:00 pm at the Bardolino Tourist Information and Reception Office (IAT) in Piazzale Aldo Moro. Duration: approximately 3.5 hours. Route suitable for walkers.
On Sunday, 26 April, there will be a guided walk of approximately 6 km to discover the historic churches of Bardolino and Cisano, including a tasting of Garda DOP olive oil. Meeting point at 10 am at the Piece di Cisano. Duration: approximately 3.5 hours. Route suitable for the whole family.
The walks will be offered in four languages: Italian, English, German and French.
Booking is required.
The outings will go ahead even in the event of rain.
