Overview
The village of Tratalias, a restored medieval urban centre, developed around the imposing Cathedral of Santa Maria de Monserrat. The buildings have been adapted to educational and craft workshops typical of the area.
The church of Santa Maria di Monserrato, dating back to the 13th century and dedicated to Our Lady of Monserrat, is the centrepiece of the village and has always represented a meeting place for the entire Sulcis region, as well as a precious testimony of the local artistic heritage with great aesthetic qualities.
