The Duomo of Narni

Here we are in Narni to visit the Duomo of San Giovenale, a Romanesque building dating from between the eleventh and the twelfth centuries, but repeatedly altered over the centuries. Passing under the arch that opens on the side of the church, we arrive in the nearby Piazza Cavour, where we can see the principal facade of the Duomo, preceded by a fifteenth century portico, decorated with a Renaissance frieze.
