Overview
On 21 and 22 October 2023 Macerata will host a festival dedicated to the language of food. Now in its 3rd edition, Tipicità EVO is an experiment that studies, describes and attempts to interpret modern phenomena related to food and wine, examining them from a humanistic perpective.
The event has developed around the idea of presenting modern life through the significance of food in different cultures, how the concept of hospitality evolves and, from a global perspective, how food consumption and habits change together with environmental and economic contexts. It is a weekend full of meetings, discussions, show cooking, exhibitions and other initiatives, in various symbolic sites in Macerata's historic centre.
Starting from the fascinating setting of the Antichi Forni in Piazza della Libertà, Tipicità Evo continues with numerous initiatives and entertainment in the city's restaurants, bars and historical sites.
