The Verdi Festival, an annual celebration between Parma and Busseto

To one of the most brilliant composers and opera composers of all time, an event is dedicated every year that attracts opera lovers from all over the world.
The festival is a tribute to Giuseppe Verdi (1813 - 1901), in the land where he was born: a strip of the Po Valley where art is at home.
Let yourself be carried away by the famous notes of Nabucco, Aida, La Traviata.

In Verdi's Lands
The Teatro Regio Parma is a 19th-century Neoclassical jewel with a prestigious calendar. Between September and October, the Verdi Festival  hosts operas and concerts. You can visit the theatre, even beyond the curtain, and attend performances including rehearsals open to the public. In the beautiful city admire the monument dedicated to him.

Roncole is the birthplace of Giuseppe Verdi: an exciting visit, where you can also listen to his voice and access previously unseen footage thanks to multimedia facilities.

An essential stop on the tour in honour of Giuseppe Verdi is the Museo Verdiano di Casa Barezzi in Busseto, where the artist took his first steps in his musical education, as a student and later as a young maestro. The exhibition includes memorabilia, autograph letters, documents and portraits.
