This 32nd edition offers, as usual, a schedule if the best artists and major players in the Italian theater.
Five performances ranging from the classic "A Midsummer Night's Dream," which kicks off the event on July 11th, to more topical pieces such as "Time on my Side," which describes the modern phenomenon of migrants (July 18th), and the sensual atmosphere of the famous folk dance of Argentina, with "Tango Bar 2014" (on the bill July 19th).
On the 20th, the play "Everybody's Right," based on the novel by Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino, and, finally, on the 25th, "Modigliani et ses femmes," a homage to the Italian painter known throughout the world. The core of the event is the theme of travel, real or imagined, that is told not only in the theatrical stagings, but also from the original performances of circus acts and puppeteers included in the section, "Stardust."
