Santa Giulia Museum in Brescia hosts the Inca exhibition until 27 June 2010. Origins and mysteries of the golden civilizations.  
There are more than 270 pieces (including golden objects, pottery, stone and wooden sculptures) on display, coming from the most important museums in Peru, reconstructing the whole history of this ancient South American civilization.
The exhibition, divided into ten sections, is a real travel through unusual and least known aspects of this people, recreating the environment, the myths and the rites at the base of the socio-cultural background, which encouraged the creation of absolute masterpieces of art of all ages.

The exhibition is open Monday to Thursday from 9 to 19 and Friday to Sunday from 9 to 20 (closed on 31 December, on 1 January open from 13 to 20).  
The ticket includes also museum admission and costs 12 euros (full price) and 9 euros (reduced price).

How to get there

By car:
take A4 Milan-Venice motorway (Brescia centro exit and then follow the signs to Santa Giulia Museum).

By plane:
the closest airport is the “Orio al Serio”- Bergamo one, which is 56 km far from Brescia. 
“Valerio Catullo” airport in Verona is 70 km far.
