Palazzo Valentini in Rome will host the photographic exhibit Foto Culto ("Cult Photo") with a selection of over 200 shots from the personal archive of the great movie still photographer Enrico Appetito.
The exhibit pays homage to this expert eye of movie scene tableaus that directly contributed to the fortunes and successes of the Italian cinematographic industry.
His lens immortalized more than 500 films of Italy’s maestros of cinema, especially those who worked during Italian film’s boom years: Antonioni, Monicelli, Cervi, Samperi, Lizzani, Damiani, Leone, Caprioli, Castellani, Festa Campanile, Nino Manfredi and Alberto Sordi.

The Enrico Appetito Association, in collaboration with the social enterprise "Life Etik," is also organizing a fund drive for research on child psychiatric disorders.
A special auction will be held in the Palazzo’s Di Liegro Hall at noon on December 22nd. The exhibited photographs will be up for bid, with all resulting proceeds going entirely to the Grande Cocomero Association, supporting the “Marco Lombardo Radice” Scholarship for one doctor for one year in the La Sapienza Department of Developmental Neuropsychiatry.
