Pilone beach

The beach of Pilone is dominated by the Torre di San Leonardo, erected in the sixteenth century to sight anyone arriving from the sea. The coast is sandy with dunes dotted with secular junipers. Thanks to its considerable environmental value, the section of coast between Torre San Leonardo and Torre Canne has been declared a regional natural park, the Parco Naturale Regionale Dune Costiere.
