Versilia

Overview

Sea, mountains and all-round fun on the beautiful coast of Tuscany

Wide beaches equipped with comprehensive facilities, the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the magnificent backdrop of the Apuan Alps, and plenty of fun all year round. Versilia, breadth of land in the province of Lucca stretching between Lake Massaciuccoli and Marina di Massa, is a byword for fun-packed holidays where it is impossible to get bored. Here lie some of the most famous leisure towns in the whole of Tuscany, from Forte dei Marmi to Camaiore, from Viareggio to Pietrasanta

Versilia owes its worldwide fame to seaside tourism. The beautiful white sandy beaches such as Marina di Pietrasanta, Lido di Camaiore and Torre del Lago, the crystal-clear sea and the top-class accommodation facilities attract thousands of tourists every year in search of the perfect holiday. A holiday that also features nightlife fun which, especially in the summer, never stops, with discos, cocktail bars on the beach and a packed calendar of events.

Visitors are also won over by unique and magical places such as the herb and flower route in Massarosa, the picturesque Darsena in Viareggio and the vast Versiliana park that stretches between Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi and offers many paths to discover immersed in nature.
