Overview
A few kilometres away from the town of Orosei, the Oasis of Bidderosa is an authentic natural sanctuary. The protected area covers 860 hectares, including five sandy coves that separate the lush vegetation from the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Inside the park, the paths wind through a forest of Aleppo pines, cork oaks and holm oaks, enriched by the presence of palms, junipers and other varieties that make the environment diverse and fascinating. There are also ponds, streams and natural viewpoints, as well as a small orchard and an olive grove. Access to the oasis is regulated from May to October to preserve its tranquillity, but visitors can always explore it on foot or by bike.
