The manifest of Machine-Technology of the ancient Rome.
The exhibition “Machine. Technology of the ancient Rome” shows the level of technology reached in the ancient Rome and the secrets of the machines used to build the Empire, tanks to virtual reconstructions, archaeological findings, scale works and photos.
Some works belong to the collection of the Museo della Civiltà Romana, others have been given by other museums and galleries.
The exhibition is organised in 11 branches: “Time and space measuring”, “Construction technology”, “hydraulic technology”, “military technology”, “technology in the communications and transports”, “Technology in medicine”, “Matallurgical and woodworks technology”, “technics in working with glass and clay”, “technology in agriculture”, “artistic techniques”, “technology in the music instruments, for the free time and fun”.

Entrance for disabile persons: the exhibition is on one floor.
Time: Tuesday to Saturday 9.00 am - 2.00 pm; Sunday 9.00 am - 1.00pm Entrance is allowed up to one hour before the closing time.
