The European Theatre will be the protagonist at the 12th edition of the festival "Teatro a Corte" (Theatre at the Royal Court) that will take over Turin and six of the Savoy royal palaces and residences throughout the region of Piedmont.

From July 6 – 22, internationally-esteemed artists will perform and interact with the public among some of the most important and historical architecture. Forms will include visual arts and imagery, dance and circus nouveau, theatre and video performances, and site-specific events. 

The magic of Theatre at the Royal Court lies in the splendid settings of great beauty and historical value: Rivoli Castle, today a contemporary art museum, Racconigi Castle, Moncalieri Castle at the Venaria Palace, and the riding stables of Druento. Audiences lucky enough to see the festival performances amidst the lavish Savoy landscaping and architecture are in for a very unique experience.

The festival is directed by Beppe Navello, and conceived and created by the Fondazione Teatro Piemonte Europa, with the financial support of the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Region of Piedmont, the Province  and City Hall of Turin, Fondazione CRT, and Reale Mutua Assicurazioni.

In the course of 3 weeks, the festival will host 25 performance groups and companies from 12 diverse countries
