02.06.2020 - 30.08.2020
More than 100 Raffaello’s works, including 27 paintings as well as drawings, cardboards, tapestries, architectural projects will be available until August 30rd 2020 at the Quirinale Stables. Visiting this exhibition means to take a journey back in time of the painter’s creative adventure: from Rome to Florence, from Florence to Umbria, up to the native Urbino. An original re-enactment that allows to rethink the biography of the artist starting from his maximum creative expansion during the years of Pope Leone X. Going back over the course of Raffaello’s life, the observer will be able to perceive the classical language characteristics that only in Rome flourished with a fullness never seen before in the art history.
