"Open future" towards a visionary learning process

The year of Matera will tell the history of humanity through a wonderful symphony subdivided into four seasons and five movements: four major exhibitions that will tell Matera and Basilicata from the past to the future:  "Ars Excavandi" on the rocky cities of the world; "Renaissance seen from the South" focused on the major emerging cultural aspects; "The poetics of prime numbers" on science and mathematics with a focus on Pythagoras (grand opening scheduled for 21 June 2019 in Metapontum); "Stratigraphies.  The Anthropocene Observatory" that investigates the new geological age as defined by the actions of humans (grand opening scheduled for 6 September 2019).  In Matera in 2019: visitors in 2019 will enjoy activities, exhibitions and much more.  Browse the site for more information.
