"Leonardo’s workshop. His codes, machines and drawings” will host, from September 12th 2009 to April 5th 2010, Leonardo da Vinci’s physical reconstructions and the greatest collection of his writings and drawings ever showed in Italy, thanks to innovative technologies. The event, produced by Leonardo 3, will propose a “total” experience about Leonardo da Vinci. Thanks to innovative technologies, you will see Leonardo’s most important codes and unpublished physical and digital reconstructions of extraordinary machines, such as his Flying Machine and Mechanical Lion. His drawings and painting will be showed thanks to the HyperView technology. For the first time, visitors will virtually leaf through Leonardo da Vinci’s Atlantic Codex, Flight Code and Manuscript B, thanks to the Virtual Codex technology. In particular, the restoration of the Manuscript B are of great historic importance. All pages were digitally restored, as if Leonardo just wrote them.
