An exhibit that, with original drawings and reproductions from the Codex Forster II and from the Codex Atlanticus, tell of the perpetual motion studied by Leonardo. Perpetual motion has fascinated many researchers over the centuries.  Leonardo demonstrated the impossibility of building a machine that could effectively reproduce perpetual motion and defined those seeking perpetual motion as similar to alchemists trying to create the philosopher's stone.
