You won't believe your eyes. The rediscovery of a masterpiece at Palazzo Fava, Bologna

Palazzo Fava in Bologna houses one of the greatest masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance: the Griffoni Polyptych by Francesco del Cossa and Ercole de’ Roberti. The dedicated exhibition staged on the piano nobile of the building brings together the 16 original tables that make up the altarpiece dedicated to San Vincenzo Ferrer. The exhibition continues on the second floor with the reconstruction of the Polyptych by Factum Foundation, created using high resolution recording and new digital display technologies. 500 years later, the 16 surviving panels are reunited once more and offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy a unicum work of art of the Italian Renaissance, as well as a chance to see how new technologies can be used to promote our cultural and artistic heritage.
