Many Emilian artists on stage to perform, with their songs, a message of hope and a real contribute to growth and return to normality of the areas hit by the earthquake on 20th May 2012. This is the “Concert for Emilia Romagna Region”, an initiative fostered by the Emilia Romagna Region and programmed on June 25th in the Dall’Ara stadium of Bologna.

At first proposed by the regional councilor Marco Barbieri, this project was immediately taken up by the regional councilor for culture Massimo Mezzetti. It finally found in Beppe Carletti the right person to gather the artists. The participant artists will be: Paolo Belli, Samuele Bersani, Luca Carboni, Caterina Caselli, Cesare Cremonini, Andrea Griminelli - the flutist born in Reggio-, Francesco Guccini, Luciano Ligabue, Andrea Mignardi, Modena City Ramblers with Cisco, Nek, Nomadi, Laura Pausini, Stadio e Zucchero. All of them will participate for free.

The concert, presented by Fabrizio Frizzi, will be broadcast live, on air on Rai1 in prime time. Every artist will perform two songs. Assomusica, the official association which gather promoters and producers of live music shows, is in charge of the organization of the concert.
