Pisa’s much-anticipated season of music under the Leaning Tower makes its return for the 11th year in the cloister of the Pisa Duomo’s Museum of Opera. 
The event includes six nights of classical and jazz music, all in the surroundings of the Duomo and Leaning Tower of Pisa: three evenings of classical concerts (June 25 and 28, and July 25) and three of jazz (June 22 and 2, and July 11).
Giovanni Allevi, Enrico Pieranunzi, Marco De Gennaro e Petra Magoni are just some of the well-known musical artists in attendance, and are among the first-rate musicians who have come to be associated with Music under the Tower in recent years.
The first season of Pisa’s Music under the Tower was held in 2002, with the goal of offering a “tasting” of high classical and jazz music in a suggestive and informal atmosphere. 
The fact that the courtyard permits only a few hundred listeners at a time creates an open-air ambience that is intimate and relaxing; add to that summer evening sunsets and a soundtrack of quality music, and the experience becomes truly delightful.
