The experimental project called “Lights and stones. S. Leucio design lab 2009” (“Le Luci e la Pietra. San Leucio design lab 2009” ) starts: the event is organised during the winter season by the local authority for the tourism in Caserta. The area of S. Leucio will be transformed in a laboratory of design for urban fitting, thanks to the works and the lighting of the best Italian designers under the artistic edge of the architect Giuseppe Coppola.
Other events have been organised in Caserta during this period:

• from the 18th December to the 31st January 2010: “Metaphysics of the colour of the third century”, 22 paintings created by Franco Viola in the Museo di arte contemporanea of Caserta, at the Belevedere of S. Laucio.
• From January to March 2010: Winter session of the “Light paths” in the Reggia of Caserta. A new and great evening event in the halls and rooms of the royal palace surrounded by lights, sounds, videos with the voice of Giancarlo Gianninni.
• From the 26th December to the 6th January 2010: the Neapolitan Living Crib of the XVII century in Vaccheria way, organised by the local authority “L’antico borgo”.
