Santa Teresa Gallura: the Torre Aragonese

Since the sixteenth century the Torre Aragonese di Longosardo has defended the strategic area of Santa Teresa Gallura, a settlement of Roman origin linked to the granite caves of Capo Testa. The town takes its name from the wife of the Piemontese king Vittorio Emanuele I, who had it rebuilt after a lengthy period of neglect.
