The Rocca di Ravaldino in Forlì

The imposing Rocca di Ravaldino was built during the fourteenth century and extended in the fifteenth. It has a square plan and cylindrical towers. It was the theatre of a siege by Cesare Borgia who took it in 1500. In the late nineteenth century it was transformed into a prison.
