On the hottest summer days it is sufficient to travel a few kilometres from the beaches of Taormina and climb to the cool of the Pineta di Linguaglossa, in the heart of the Etna Regional Park. An almost alpine setting at the foot of Etna, where impressive lava flows dramatically interrupt the pinewoods. From Piano Provenzana it is possible to climb to the craters of the volcano.
